A new exhibition is to take place in the spiritual home of Ipex. It will not be as large, but there will be something for anyone travelling to Birmingham.

The printing industry's new exhibition is promising a little of everything, from old style letterpress to the latest digital technology, from litho to wide format. It is a UK-only event as Northprint used to be, but takes place at the NEC, spiritual home to Ipex. And like the defunct London Print Show, this is intended to become an annual exhibition... Vivid to flaunt new Matrix effects

Vivid will attend The Print Show next month with updates to its finishing systems. The Matrix single-sided lamination system now includes special effects, such as spot UV, holography and foil-blocking, as well as a retro-fittable under-feed unit for the Matrix 530.

Printing Outlook report 'fantastic', says Stoneham

"The survey results made for fantastic reading as they revealed one third of UK printers report an increase in output for the first quarter of 2015. As a UK show for the UK print industry this just adds to our confidence," says Luke Stoneham.

The Print Show has landed its first trio of exhibitors as it hopes to build its presence in the run up to an inaugural outing at the NEC next year.
