Colourbyte, a leading supplier of large-format printer and RIP solutions, has announced that it will use its presence at The Print Show this year to demonstrate how its solutions can be used by commercial print companies to expand into new, profit-generating markets.
The company, which was also in attendance at the inaugural edition of the event last year, will be showing some of the most popular machines in the Epson wide- and large-format range. Colourbyte, which will be located on stand A30 at the show, is planning a similar approach for this year and hopes to capitalise on significant interest in the show.
Technology will include Epson SureColor F Series dye sublimation and textile print machines, which Colourbyte now offers to the UK market after recently being appointed as a value added reseller for the range. Included in this portfolio of solutions are the Epson SureColor F6200 44-inch model, the Epson SureColor F7200 64-inch machine, and the Epson SureColor F9200 64-inch option.
Tim Stockley, director of Colourbyte, said: “We are delighted that we can offer this range of machines to the UK market. Textile printing is one of the fastest growing sectors of the wider print market and machines in the SureColor F Series offer the more traditional print companies the opportunity to expand their business and add new revenue streams. The printers are also capable of taking on work for hard surfaces, such as custom coffee table tops, hi-gloss aluminium photo panels and MDF panels.
"The Print Show is the perfect opportunity for us to speak to companies that are thinking of expanding their business and show how the machines we stock can help them access the opportunities on offer in the market."
Phil McMullin, UK sales manager Pro Graphics at Epson UK, added: "Colourbyte is a trusted Epson partner of long standing, focusing exclusively on Epson print technology in combination with complementary software, hardware and consumables.
"We are delighted that Colourbyte has now added the Epson SureColor dye sublimation range to their portfolio, ensuring that Colourbyte customers can now enjoy their outstanding support for an even wider range of print applications."
Colourbyte will also be showing off a number of other Epson printers at the event this year, including the SureColor SC-S Series 64-inch eco-solvent printers, a new and cost-effective way to create applications such as signage, high-end displays and décor on a wide range of substrates.
Visitors will also be able to find out more about the SureColor SC-T Series highspeed, four-colour point-of-sale and graphics printers, which combine Epson's PrecisionCore TFP printheads and UltraChrome XD pigment ink. Colourbyte will show an SC-T5200D MFP 36-inch model with scanner at The Print Show.
Also being showcased at the event will be the SureColor SC-P7000 24-inch largeformat printer/proofer featuring UltraChrome HDX 10-colour pigment inks, which produce highly accurate colours, and when used with Colourbyte proofing media, meet all new FOGRA 51/52 standards.
In addition, Colourbyte will be showing off the Epson ColourWorks C7500 Series of inkjet label printers at the event. The inkjet label printers enable users to print customised colour labels on-demand, thus addressing another key growth area of the print industry.
Aside from this various hardware, Colourbyte will showcase its range of media that can be used to help create a host of applications. Visitors to the stand will be able to find out about more than 100 products for solvent, latex, UV and pigment inks, with A4 samples to take away.
To demonstrate how visitors can expand their businesses by using technology from Colourbyte, the supplier will be creating various dye sublimated products such as stunning aluminium photo panels using a large heat press. Other sublimated products will be on show to help fire up business owners looking for alternative high margin products to offer their customers.
