Craig Brown, chief executive officer of the BSGA

Visitors to The Print Show with sign-making and business challenges will be able to seek guidance from directors of the British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA) through the Sign Surgery.

Located on Stand E34, the BSGA team will be on hand to answer sign-making and display production questions and provide practical advice on topics such as sustainability, standards, and staffing.

Craig Brown, chief executive officer of the BSGA, says: “Following the success of the Sign Surgery at previous events, there was strong demand for us to offer guidance on various topics. Sign-makers are particularly concerned about sustainability, standards, and staffing, amongst many other issues.

“Through the Sign Surgery at The Print Show, we aim to address all their concerns and provide the support they need to move forward with confidence. With more years of experience than we would like to own up to, the BSGA board has seen pretty much everything in sign, and the Sign Surgery is a great opportunity to share this knowledge.”

According to Brown, members of the BSGA continually ask the team questions and by hosting the Sign Surgery at The Print Show, the company is extending its guidance and support to all visitors of the event.

In turn, the Association hopes to demonstrate the benefits of being part of a well-established trade association such as the BSGA.

Following The Print Show, the BSGA plans to run Sign Surgery sessions online and the industry is encouraged to share any specific topics they’d like to see covered by contacting Jack Gocher at jg@uksigns.org.
