Session Details

In April this year, Canon Europe, in partnership with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), launched World Unseen, its first completely accessible, immersive experience at Somerset House in London. This first-of-its kind photography exhibition was designed to enable blind, partially sighted, and sighted visitors to experience imagery in an entirely new way.

In this session, Mathew Faulkner will delve into how Canon used its cutting-edge technologies to deliver the exhibition with photography being brought to life with elevated print through Canon’s PRISMAElevate XL software. While Dave Williams will discuss the RNIB’s strategic partnership with Canon and how the exhibition helped people with different types of visual impairment to develop a greater understanding of accessibility to arts and culture.
